About Me.
Theater has always been apart of my life from a little child until now. I grew up in Staten Island and have performed on stage from elementary-high school. It wasn’t until college that I had the opportunity to experience and work with professionals backstage. This sparked my love for theater in a whole new way, allowing me to learn all new skills.
In the past year I have Stage Managed: Pippin, “Rise Up” Young Holocaust Hero’s, Directing Originals, The Boys In The Band, and many more. My true passion is in Stage Management but that has not stopped me from being successful as a lighting, scenic, and designer. I understand the importance of what goes into creating, facilitating and maintaining the art we chose to present on stage. To me, reading a lighting plot and figuring out how to put that plot into the world feels like a puzzle, and that excites me to end.
I have worked with several theater companies on Staten Island as a Stage Manager and Sound tech. It’s always a pleasure to work with people who have grown up in the same environment you have and find themselves in the Arts.
One day I would love to open up a community theater on Staten Island with a proper theater so I can teach the children who haven’t experienced technical theater until college (like myself) how to use equipment and learn that theater isn’t just about what’s on stage. Everything happening behind the scenes is just as important.
A few personal interests include photography, exercise, clothing/fashion, reading, writing, making flower arrangements.
